Friday Evening Butterfly Program & Walk at the Greensboro Science Center

  • Greensboro Science Center (map)

Join us for a Friday evening program to look into the work our Greensboro Science Center is doing to provide native habitat for butterflies.  Chandra Metheny of the GSC will walk us through the Cole Family Monarch Conservation Center and Butterfly House at 6 and then to see some of the pollinator pockets that have been planted on the premises. Following the tour, we will go inside for a short program about their efforts, patio gardening for pollinators, and a bite of dessert from Maxie B’s.  This is the last chance for 2023 to see this exhibit as it will close for the season just following our event.
