Join us for a joint field trip with Piedmont Bird Club to the Guilford County Farm on Saturday, August 26.

Come and develop your identification skills as we search for a variety of birds living and migrating through this area of northeastern Guilford County. Some of the birds we may expect to see include Eastern Meadowlarks, Great Blue Herons, hawks, vireos, swallows, as well as other early migrants.

Location: Meet at the trail kiosk at the Guilford County Farm, 7315 Howerton Road, Elon, NC 27244.

Time: 8:00 a.m. Duration: until about 11:30 a.m.

Habitat: roadsides, fields, and margins

Difficulty rating: 1; easy walking on and beside flat fields and along roads
