This workshop, an introduction to Triad birds and the hobby of birding, will be in two parts. For the first 45 minutes we will discuss the basics of birds and birding. Questions will be encouraged. Following that, we will walk around the park grounds practicing our skills in finding and identifying birds. Several experienced birders have volunteered to accompany us to act as guides and mentors. Supervised older children are welcome. No pets, please. This is a joint activity with Piedmont Bird Club.
