Beginning Birders Workshop Has Openings Saturday Sept 24

I’m writing to let folks know that the Beginning Birders Workshop this coming Saturday, Sept 24th, has a few openings. A few folks have had a change in their plans and won’t be able to participate so those seats are now open. First come, first served. There is no charge but registration is required. Kids who are accompanied adults are welcome. (No drop offs.) 

The workshop will be in Greensboro’s Price Park outside the KCE library in the picnic shelter near the lake from 9:30-11:30 am. . We will begin with an outdoor classroom session of about 45 minutes to learn how to find birds and look for clues to help identify the birds we see or hear. Then we will break down into smaller groups and spend about an hour around the park grounds practicing our skills with the help of several experienced birders as mentors.
