Summit: "Migration in the Mountains" will be the theme of this spectacular program sponsored by Elisha Mitchell Audubon Society in Asheville, NC.
On Friday, celebrate our first night together at our evening reception, "Birds, Brews, and Bluegrass" in the River Arts District, then head out with friends for dinner on your own at one of the many popular Asheville restaurants.
On Saturday and Sunday, take your pick of full or half-day birding trips to some of the area's most beautiful birding areas, including the Blue Ridge Parkway and Sandy Mush Game Lands. You'll also have the option to join a trip for butterflies and dragonflies, a float on the French Broad River, and engaging Q&A sessions with Audubon leaders, including Audubon Society's Chief Network Officer David Ringer.
Our Saturday night banquet awards dinner will bring attendees together to celebrate the work we do to protect birds now and for the future! National Audubon Society's Chief Network Officer David Ringer will present the keynote address, "Protecting Birds and the Places they Need: Today and Tomorrow" and share insights on bird protection and how to engage people with practical conservation solutions.
