Leader Ann Walter-Fromson. Preserve located in southwestern Rockingham County near Carolina Marina.  Begin on the Beechwood Bottom Trail and continue to Creekside Loop Trail. About 2 miles of walking. Some of it hilly.

Wear sturdy walking shoes, as trails may be muddy or slippery in places.

Bring binoculars (close-focus binoculars are good for viewing small flowers). You may want to carry a walking stick, insect repellant, wildflower guide, camera, water and snack. No pets, please.
